Zizzi
Located right near the Millenium Centre and on Cardiff Bay itself our second Cardiff restaurant is a great place to sit back and relax. Our designer, Tobias Hall, pulled inspiration from surrounding nature and has created a rather tranquil vibe in the restaurant. The blue and green colour theme represent the theme of the rivers Ely and Taff, and the green the valleys respectively. And the Wader Birds that are native to the area form the inspiration for the illustrations on the wall.
Our Italian restaurant serves tasty, authentic dishes from pizza, pasta and risotto to salads and indulgent desserts – all in a uniquely designed restaurant. Our Italian menu also includes Vegan and Vegetarian options. We are open Monday – Sunday for lunch and dinner. Very Poor Service
We were ignored on arrival despite being seen (and passed( by 2 members of staff. We asked someone to take our order but were curtly told to use the app. After waiting sfor sometime we were told that part of our order was unavailable – why was it still showing on the app? After 45 minutes I had to remind the waitress to bring our drinks – once again we were told that ingredients were not available and to choose something else. Our mains arrived after 1 hour of being seated even though we had a 2 year old with us – she didn’t receive the correct order but we were fed up of waiting. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. At no point did we feel welcome. Zizzi you seriously need to retrain your staff. Needless to say we won’t be back again.
